A Basement Re-Do

The basement is often the most-overlooked area of the home. Over time it becomes the repository for unused and seasonal items. But it doesn’t have to be that way. Committing to a basement re-do once or twice a year will help you stay on top of the piles, the outgrown clothes and accessories, and the broken sporting goods that are all taking up valuable real estate in your home.

Here’s one such example of how we helped a client take back their basement to make it more functional while also preparing their home for sale.

Before Unused sports gear, old clothes, and random household items had accumulated over time, making this corner of the basement somewhat difficult to acess and use appropriately.

After Not only did we clear out unused items, we also took the opportunity to properly pack up seasonal items for the client’s upcoming move, taking them to a temporary storage facility.

This Basement Re-Do had three immediate benefits for our client:

1) Restored functionality to their basement storage
2) Home prepared for sale (and easy to maintain with minimal clutter)
3) Seasonal items sorted and packed, ready for upcoming move
