On every project we do our best to reuse, recycle, or repurpose our client’s items. Sometimes we have to get creative in our process and with our resource list to accomplish this, which is why we love finding new inspirational ideas from others.
For example, Rothy’s shoes are made from recycled plastic bottles. While I loved the idea, I couldn’t imagine they’d be comfortable… until I bought a pair! Not only are they easy to wear, they’re easy to maintain. And this got us thinking: what other creative ideas have people come up with to turn trash into treasure?

Upcycling is one of the best ways we know to prevent adding to our overflowing landfills. The ingenuity needed to create alternatives is not only impressive, but inspiring. We hope you think so too, and that the next time you think of throwing something away, maybe you’ll consider reinventing it instead.
