How do you brighten up, refresh, and update an existing kitchen all in one step?
Countertops.
We recently had a project to update our client’s kitchen, without changing the layout, function, or structure of the space. The previous design was outdated, dark, and left a lot to be desired. After living with it for 11 years, our client decided it was time for a makeover.
As you can see, the simplest change can make a huge impact. In this project we paid attention to color and function. A kitchen is a high-use space, and the countertop has to do a lot of work. Choosing a natural material that’s both durable and light in color brightened and refreshed the room. In our client’s own words: “I can’t wait to wake up in the morning and see my new kitchen!”
